It is time to enroll in summer and fall Sierra College, Tahoe - Truckee classes.
Business owners, community members and current high school students are encouraged to explore career and technical education opportunities through on-site classes at Sierra College, Tahoe-Truckee (located at 11001 College Trail in Truckee).
Sierra College, Tahoe-Truckee offers a condensed summer schedule with classes meet three or four times a week Monday through Thursday from June 30 through July 31, 2014. Morning classes include English and intermediate algebra. Afternoon classes include U.S. history since 1865, introduction to humanities and general principles of psychology.
There are more than fifty offerings during the fall semester (Aug. 25 through Dec. 13). Classes range from one to six units, and tuition is $46 per unit. Current Tahoe-Truckee Unified School District high school students can enroll for just one dollar per unit.

“The diversity of students is one of the things I love most about teaching at Sierra College,” says instructor Christopher Old who teaches psychology classes as well as college success and introduction to career planning. Old encourages students to get involved with campus life which includes outdoor adventure, business and art clubs as well as student government. Frequent special events on campus include Sierra College Insights and the annual spring art show.
