Kathy Scopin, First Trip to Italy's Tour Director, was inspired after completing a two-day course on olive oils in Santa Barbara in 2005. Shortly after the class, she was honored to receive a letter noting that she had the skills of an "expert taster." Fast forward to 2009. After a rigorous four month training program at UC Davis, Kathy was selected as an apprentice for the UC Davis Olive Center tasting panel. Quite an honor! Kathy will share highlights from her experiences at our informed tasting on Sunday, Jan. 22.
I plan to begin sharing PR case studies, what I love about social media, how to connect through compelling pitches. Really I do. I'm just so excited about our Winter 2012 Event Series at Cedar House Sport Hotel in Truckee, CA. When I'm not working on client projects, my time is consumed reading fascinating articles about extra virgin olive oils, diving into interesting pieces about cooking with tea and planning our March 2012 event, Play Again.
