Women, Art and the Creative Process
A two part series featuring the premiere Tahoe-Truckee screening of Elissa Slanger's heart warming 30-minute film "Evelyn" and an evening with accomplished artists Brooke Bishop, Eva Nichols and Nancy Tieken Lopez on Sunday, April 22 followed by a hands-on creative art project inspired by “Evelyn” with acclaimed muralist Susie Alexander on Tuesday, April 24. "Evelyn" brings us into the home of Evelyn Brenner, a prolific artist specializing in decorative art well into her 90s. A portion of proceeds benefits Soroptimists in support of girls and women. |
